When we were commissioned to rebrand this seaside resort, including the renovation of 220 guestrooms and its extensive public areas, our approach was rooted in both heritage and place.

The brand identity was developed around a mid-century inspiration, drawing references from the elegance of the Côte d’Azur, while simultaneously embracing the essential elements of the island—its materials, landscape, and natural surroundings.

We also explored local narratives, reinterpreting mythological references through a contemporary lens. The nearby Palace of Knossos provided architectural inspiration, while local arts and crafts—textiles, embroidery, and music—infuse the design with layers of detail and authenticity.
